Thehe firefighters intervened late Tuesday afternoon for a burning car and scooter in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, according to information disseminated by several media and confirmed in the evening by a spokesman for the Brussels firefighters. He added that other small fires are already reported in several places in the capital.
The intervention for the car took place around 4:00 p.m. rue de la Sambre in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. Witnesses reportedly saw three youths flee when the vehicle ignited.
The scooter was set on fire around 5 p.m. rue Pierre-Victor Jacobs, still in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean.
The spokesperson said that a garbage container was also on fire at the Andromède city in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. The intervention is underway. Different cardboard fires have also been reported in different places in the capital.
