2024 countdown event to end the year in many areas Bangkok organizes a grand event to facilitate the people and give gifts to send happiness on the occasion of the 2024 New Year Festival to the people. Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), the agency that oversees 4 electric train lines
- Metro Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line (MRT Blue Line)
- Metro Chalong Ratchadham Line (MRT Purple Line)
- MRT Yellow Line (MRT Yellow Line)
- MRT Pink Line (MRT Pink Line)
The end of service has been extended on Sunday night, December 31, 2023 to 2:00 a.m. on January 1, 2024.
At the same time, service hours for all buildings and parking lots have been extended. To be consistent with the service of various electric train lines on New Year’s nights as follows:
-MRT Purple Line and Blue Line
The building and park-and-ride area are open for service from 5:00 a.m. on December 31, 2023 to 3:00 a.m. on January 1, 2024 or until the last electric train reaches the destination station. There is parking along the MRT Blue Line, consisting of:
4 park-and-ride buildings at Lat Phrao Station Thailand Cultural Center Station, Lak Song Station (2 buildings) and 11 park-and-ride yards at Ratchadaphisek Station Huai Khwang Station Thailand Cultural Center Station (2 yards), Rama 9 Station, Phetchaburi Station Sukhumvit Station Queen Sirikit National Convention Center Station (2 yards), Samyan Station and Kamphaeng Phet Station.
This is only for the park and ride area. Kamphaeng Phet Station Open 24 hours a day for parking along the MRT Purple Line, consisting of 4 park-and-ride buildings, including at Khlong Bang Phai Station. Sam Yaek Bang Yai Station Bang Rak Noi Tha It Station and Nonthaburi Intersection Station 1
– MRT Yellow Line
Park and ride building service open Sri Iam Station 24 hours a day, no overnight fines charged. By charging normal parking rates.
– MRT Pink Line
Opening the park and ride building at Minburi Station for free! 24 hours a day
– Green Line
The building and park-and-ride area are open for service from 5:00 a.m. on December 31, 2023 to 3:30 a.m. on January 1, 2024 or until the last electric train reaches the destination station. There is 1 park-and-ride area along the Green Line, Bearing – Samut Prakan section, at Kheha Station. and park-and-ride buildings along the Green Line electric train route, Mo Chit – Saphan Mai – Khu Khot section, at 2 locations at the K.P.O. intersection station and Khu Khot station.
