Libreville, Thursday January 4, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – Since yesterday, the President of the Republic has received the wishes of the diplomatic corps and national bodies.
The Libreville seaside palace has been vibrating since yesterday Wednesday to the rhythm of the wishes of the diplomatic corps and national bodies. In his capacity as dean of the diplomatic corps, the Moroccan Ambassador, Abdellah Sbihi, wanted to reaffirm the commitment of all diplomats accredited to Gabon to support the Transition process underway in the country.
With the first lady, Zita Oligui Nguema, at his side, the head of state also received greetings from personnel of the defense and security forces. Managers of the national gendarmerie, military health, the Republican Guard, the national police and prison security, after taking stock of the past year, have in turn declined their wishes to the presidential couple.
This Thursday, the turn fell to the government and Parliament to sacrifice this tradition with regard to the President of the Republic. The wishes to Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema end this Friday, January 5, 2024.
