The ZDF crime series “Wilsberg” not only climbed to a dizzying 8 million viewer heights during the pandemic, but its repetitions are also a reliable ratings guarantee for ZDFneo in the linear program. On Saturday, the new “Wilsberg: Licked Blood” from Warner Bros. was shown in the main linear program.
With 6.21 million viewers and 26.5 percent, it was the second highest number of viewers achieved by the crime series “Wilsberg” this year. In terms of market share of the total audience, it was even in first place.
At the same time, the quiz show “Who knows something like that XXL” with Kai Pflaume did very well on the first, entertaining 4.34 million viewers for more than three hours, which meant a market share of 20.1 percent.
The strongest program on the private broadcasters in terms of overall audience was “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” on RTL with the fifth episode of the latest season, which was watched by an average of 1.74 million viewers and earned 7.8 percent.
