What are the new features?

1. Hide ‘Last Seen’ from certain contacts
WhatsApp already has a feature that allows users to hide last seen from other people’s contacts.
Even so, you can’t see the ‘last seen’ status in your own contacts.
Through this new feature, you can hide the ‘last seen’ status of certain people in your contacts, but not all of them.
This feature is already available in the beta version of the app, and will roll out in the coming weeks or months to all users.
2. Extended delete message time
Maybe you’ve heard of this news.
Indeed WhatsApp is developing a message deletion feature indefinitely, and this has only been tested in the beta version of the app.
However, at this time, it is still unclear when this feature will be available.
As you know, the current time limit for deleting messages is 68 minutes 16 seconds.

3. Community
Currently, WhatsApp is working on a new feature which will most likely be rolled out in the near future.
According to reports, this feature is similar to groups, but the difference is that admins are given more control over various aspects of the app.
One of them is being able to create several groups within the community.

4. Logout WhatsApp
To replace the ‘Delete Account’ button, WhatsApp will also bring the ‘Logout WhatsApp’ feature, as well as support the upcoming multi-device feature.
This option will allow the user to log out of the WhatsApp account from the device, such as those found on Facebook and other social networking applications.
This feature has already been spotted in the beta version of the app, and is said to be rolling out to future iOS and Android versions soon.
5. Reels Instagram of WhatsApp
WhatsApp will also have a feature that will allow users to view Instagram Reels.
This could be part of WhatsApp’s planned integration with other Facebook-owned apps.
For information, Instagram Reels is a short video feature that was added to the Instagram application some time ago.
6. Message Reaction
With this feature, Moms can react with emoji on any message.
This feature is similar to message reactions on Facebook and Instagram.
7. Photo Editor
Starting earlier this month, WhatsApp also announced that it would be bringing an in-app photo editor to the app.
It starts from WhatsApp Web.
