In 2022, another larger one was established in Warsaw, Poland studio called Mighty Koi. The team is partly made up of former employees of studios such as CD Projekt RED, FromSoftware, Ubisoft, Konami and Wargaming. The recently formed team presented two upcoming projects.
The first title bears the title The Night Wanderer and draws on a book model by the Polish writer Jaroslaw Grzedowicz. In terms of genre, it will be an action-oriented soulslike RPG, which, according to the authors, will focus primarily on a demanding combat system, a combination of fantasy and science fiction, and a protagonist with a strong personality. The game is currently in pre-production and is headed to both PC and consoles PlayStation 5 a Xbox Series X/S.
The second title presented is an action adventure game called Thorgal. It is based on the comic book series of the same name, which was created by writer Jean Van Hamme and cartoonist Grzegorz Rosiński. The developers describe the game as an adventure game with RPG elements, in which the player takes on the Viking warrior Thorgal.
Even in the case of this project, however, it is likely to be published we will wait a long time. Apparently, the studio itself is currently still being formed and is gradually growing. In terms of scale, the developers label both projects as AA+/AAA titles. You can watch the premiere previews below.
