Scientists have created a pill that may give my followers… Diets Or the diet, feeling full and eating less food. The researchers explained that the pill that was invented can be swallowed before eating, and it vibrates in the stomach and creates a feeling of fullness.
According to the British Guardian newspaper website, research conducted on pigs showed that they ate approximately 40% less food after taking the capsule.
The research, which has not yet been conducted in humans, showed that 30 minutes after eating the pills, the pigs ate on average about 40% less food in the next half hour than they did without the device, and slowly gained more weight.
The name Vibes is an abbreviation derived from the full title of the pill – Vibrating Ingestible BioElectronic Stimulator.
Work in pigs suggests that the vibrations activate stretch receptors in the stomach, simulating the presence of food.
This results in sending signals to the hypothalamus in the brain via the vagus nerve, which leads to an increase in the levels of various hormones that lead to a feeling of fullness and a decrease in those that lead to a feeling of hunger.
“We envision Vibes pills being taken on a relatively empty stomach 20 to 30 minutes before expected meals to stimulate the desired feeling of fullness early in the meal,” the researchers said.
He added that when grains are produced on a large scale, the cost of grains is expected to be in the range of cents to one dollar.
The vibrations, which are powered by a battery encapsulated in the swallowed capsule, can be triggered when stomach acid dissolves the membrane surrounding the pill, or by a timer.
The researchers explained that the tablets, which are about the size of a large vitamin tablet, provide a temporary, non-surgical treatment, without the need for weight-loss surgery, and are excreted from the body with other solid waste through the stool.
However, the researchers suggested that it may be possible to develop tablets that are implanted, or remain in the stomach, to reduce the need for people to take them repeatedly if they need ongoing treatment.
“The capsule is not the same as using medications that can have significant side effects,” said Giovanni Traverso, an associate professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and author of the research.
