New version of Knights of the Old Republic II announced on mobile

If there is a euphemism that we could put forward, it is that the series of role-playing video games Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic have their audience. Whether it’s the fans attached to the great adventure of the eponymous game, those who rather pinch for the tragic fresco of the second opus or even those who, at one time or another, succumbed to the attractive sirens of the massively multiplayer version of the series: many players are waiting for any follow-up in good and due form to these famous titles.

Ladies and gentlemen, Lucasfilm has finally cost you.

Continuing its fruitful collaboration with the Texan studio Aspyr, Lucasfilm has just announced thata mobile port of the venerable video game Knights of the Old Republic II : The Sith Lords (KotOR II for friends) will soon see the light of day on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Available from this 18 december for the modest sum of $14.99 (on the American Apple Store anyway), this new version of KotOR II has been specially optimized for different mobile devices by Aspyr, including a new interface. The studio is not its first attempt in the matter since it had already taken care of repimping for Disney and Lucasflilm the games Jedi Outcast et Jedi Academy, as well as Star Wars Racer.

Finally, you are free to begin (or relive) the thrilling story of the Exile, while cataminited under the petticoats of the interminable tables that are proverbially reserved for end-of-year family feasts, or to explore the jungles of Dxun and the bowels of theEbon Hawk in the middle of the no less dangerous public transport routes!

So let us know what you think of this new iteration of Obsidian Entertainment’s game – released 16 years ago! – in comment.
