The Community Board has published the new recommended vaccination schedule for Castilla-La Mancha for all residents of the Autonomous Community.
The vaccination schedule includes the recommended vaccines throughout life, from the prenatal stage to beyond 80 years of age.
The main innovations in the immunization schedule are vaccination against diseases caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) upon reaching twelve years of age (both sexes, born in 2011).
The second novelty is vaccination against meningococcal disease by serogroup B in infants (born in 2023).
The third addition is vaccination against influenza for boys and girls between the ages of six and 59 months.

The fourth novelty is vaccination against herpes zoster for people who are 65 and 80 years old.
And, finally, vaccination against pneumococcal disease with conjugate vaccine is incorporated upon reaching 65 years of age.
