Concern about the health of Karl Tremblay, lead singer of the Dashing Cowboys, remains high. His wife, multi-instrumentalist Marie-Annick Lépine, revealed on Facebook that her current cancer treatments “no longer work”.
The musician made this revelation at the end of a long post where she mentioned the bad news that has accumulated for her, both personally and professionally.
“That’s when Karl tells me that the chemotherapy is no longer working,” she writes. He will start a new treatment after the break. Misery… ”
Karl Tremblay announced that he had prostate cancer in July 2022 and began treatment soon after. He had received his diagnosis in January 2020. He is 46 years old and is the father of two young girls.
The Fringant Cowboys are nevertheless continuing their tour, which will take them to Brossard, Gatineau and Repentigny by the end of the month.
