New travel ban for Girondins de Bordeaux supporters

The football match on Saturday, November 25, 2023 between the Paris FC and Girondins teams at the Charléty stadium will take place without Bordeaux supporters. The decision was taken by the Ministry of the Interior in a decree dated November 22. The latter considers that the movements of the Girondins “are frequently a source of disturbances to public order due to the violent behavior of certain supporters or individuals claiming to be supporters of this team.” The text cites several examples to support its argument. The Ministry also considers that certain supporters of the Paris FC club “frequently adopt violent behavior manifested by brawls between supporters, by violence against the police and by throwing firecrackers, smoke bombs and bombs”. Finally, relations between the supporters of the PFC and FCGB teams simply do not seem peaceful enough to allow the movement of Bordeaux supporters.
