In particular, Ukrainian drivers are reminded that, according to traffic rules, from May 1 will the obligatory inclusion of daytime running lights by drivers, or in their absence, low beam headlights in the daytime while driving outside settlements, has been canceled.
Note that turning on daytime running lights or dipped headlights outside settlements, regardless of the time of day, is only necessary from October 1 to May 1.
This rule is associated with the need for additional designation of the vehicle in conditions of insufficient visibility, in particular, in the autumn-winter period.
And if you neglect this rule and do not turn on the running lights, the driver will be held accountable. The sanction for such a violation is a warning, not a fine.
At the same time, from May 1 to October 1, dipped beam or running lights not turned on during daylight hours are not a violation.
Let us recall that earlier we wrote that new cameras for automatic recording of traffic violations will be installed in Ukraine.
In addition, we also reported on the five basic rules for cyclists.
