The Japanese automotive company Toyota has presented the Toyota Camry sedan of the latest generation, which has said goodbye to the V6 and gasoline turbo engine, with an emphasis on the hybrid drive.
Initially, the buyer will be offered two versions – a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine combined with two electric motors and a total power of 228 hp, which, combined with a variator, drives the front wheels, while the second version with three electric motors provides all-wheel drive and a total power of 235 hp.
The manufacturer emphasizes that the Camry has an upgraded suspension and an improved braking system.
Visually, the new model differs with slightly different front and rear bodywork, offering a different headlight and grille design, as well as moving the brand’s badge to the bonnet.
The cabin features a new front fascia with flush gauges and a multimedia screen.
The premiere of the new Toyota Camry is scheduled for November 17 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
