The Cap Autonomie Santé association is launching a new cycle of workshops in Lanester, in the first half of 2024. Therapeutic patient education (TPE) helps to better manage their daily life with a chronic illness. “The workshops are accessible to all people suffering from a chronic illness such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cancer… They can be supported within the therapeutic education program “At the heart of my health “, explains Anaïs Tanguy, from Cap Autonomie Santé.
Six weeks
The program offers a cycle of six workshops on themes such as food, emotions, physical activity, etc. There are also complementary workshops which allow you to explore these different subjects in more depth or which give the opportunity to discover relaxation techniques and to better understand the disease.
The cycle will begin at the end of January for six weeks, once a week in two-hour slots. At the same time, around ten additional workshops will take place between January and the end of June 2024.
Practical
The workshops are free and are held in Lanester. Only adapted physical activity is chargeable (€20 for the entire cycle) and takes place in Lorient.
