LIVE Techno – Physicist Stephen Hawking’s theory of black holes, aka black holes, has quite a scary length because the entire universe will evaporate when it’s time.
In 1974, black holes are said to evaporate due to loss of what is called Hawking Radiation. The term, issued by the professor from the University of Cambridge, refers to the gradual measurement of energy in the form of particles that appear around a black hole’s very strong gravitational field.
However, at this time a new theory emerged about the Hawking Radiation. The theory says that Hawking Radiation is not only created from black holes but also from all objects that have sufficient mass. If this theory is correct, it means that everything in the universe will vanish because it evaporates and is released in the form of light.
“That means that objects without an event horizon, such as the remains of dead stars and other massive objects in the universe, also have this kind of radiation,” said lead study author Heino Falcke, a professor of astrophysics at Radboud University, Netherlands.
“And, after a very long time, it will cause everything in the universe to eventually evaporate, like a black hole.”
The researchers published the study June 2, 2023 in the Journal Physical Review. He explained that this latest study not only changed the understanding of Hawking Radiation, but also our view of the universe and its future.
