The filming of The Last of Us will last until next summer.
The recordings of The Last of Us from HBO are in full swing. A new photo has now appeared online of actor and lead actor Pedro Pascal.
Pascal will soon be seen as Joel in the PlayStation film. It is difficult to judge from the photos that appeared on Twitter whether he looks very much like the character, because the actor is wearing a mouth mask.

An anonymous source says the photos (which you can find on Twitter via the link at the bottom of this post) are of a scene where someone is shooting at Joel and Ellie. Although you can’t see Ellie in the photo, her hair does seem to be completely similar to what we saw in Naughty Dog’s game.
From The Last of Us appears to be a pretty faithful film adaptation of the original game.
The series is co-created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog. They ensure that the ten episodes are also sufficiently similar to the game, but also add material that was previously removed from the game to streamline it.
The recordings will reportedly last until the summer of 2022. We do not yet know when the series can be seen on HBO.
