The boy was born at Danderyds hospital outside Stockholm on Friday. According to the court, he weighed 3,220 grams and was 49 centimeters long.

The couple’s former children, Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel, were born in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Prince Carl Philip is the little brother of Crown Princess Victoria, and the newborn is the royal couple’s eighth grandchild.
