The most striking new aid measure for workers was announced by Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke.
To “the appreciation and respect” for it hospital staff and home nurses to make it concrete, the government immediately comes up with an amount of 200 million euros, to compensate for their efforts. The amount is in addition to the promised € 300 consumption check.
In addition to the extension of existing measures for employees, such as the deferment of payment for loans, you can also receive an extension if you cannot pay your taxes.
The government is also coming up with a plan to employ workers support with teleworking and the problems they encounter in doing so: the deployment of stress and burnout coaches, training for managers to manage staff remotely and an adjustment of the selection procedures for civil servants so that this can be done remotely.
