A previously unknown game called Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania was in Brazil with an age rating (via Switch Brasil) Mistake. The classification covers all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, which is why we can expect an announcement soon. Such a classification already existed in Australia before!
The last completely new offshoot of the series appeared in 2012 in the form of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz, 2019 then with Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Another remake of a 2010 title in which SEGA’s mascot Sonic the Hedgehog also pushes a quiet ball. Now, for E3 2021, a completely new offshoot could be in store for us.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania was born on April 15th at the Australian Authority classified. It received the PG rating in the area of “violence” and is therefore classified as not recommended for children under 15 without the presence of a parent or guardian. It is not yet clear what exactly is supposed to be “slightly violent” in a title of this skill game series. However, Australia is known not to be a large scale.
There have been several hints in the past that a new game in the Super Monkey Ball franchise was in development. Would you look forward to an early announcement?
