/ world today news/ Dissatisfied with the management of Cornelia Ninova will make a new attempt to remove her from the chairmanship of the BSP.
A new petition is underway to convene a meeting of the National Council of the party, its initiators announced.
At the moment, 31 people have signed up. By the end of tomorrow, 64 signatures are expected to be collected. The meeting in person is scheduled to be held on December 4 at 20 Positano.
“We call for activity in support of the initiative in order to enable a wider discussion on the issues raised in the Application for Signature to convene the meeting,” commented Petar Mutafchiev, a member of the National Council of the BSP and one of the initiators of the signature.
This is the second request for an in-person meeting of the National Council, after the initiators postponed the first meeting due to the national mourning for the victims of the accident on the Struma highway and the home for the elderly in the village of Rojak in Varna.
In the November 14 election, the BSP took just over 10 percent of the vote, or 267,817 votes. Thus, under the leadership of the Ninova Centenary, it collapsed to the fourth political power after PP, GERB and DPS. The leader has announced that he is resigning, but it has not yet been filed in the Positano 20 registry. Ninova also insists on continuing to lead the Reds until a congress is held on January 22.
So far, only Krum Zarkov has announced that he will run for the next chairman of the BSP.
