Incredible video from Sarleinsbach in Upper Austria. A woman was filming there, like in a forest while storm “Sabine” twisted trees like matches.

On Monday, storm Sabine caused severe damage in parts of Austria with hurricane gusts. New warnings have now been issued for Tuesday.
From the early hours of the morning until around 8.30 p.m., there is an alarm level of red in Sankt Pölten, Steyr and Linz. Gusts of up to 110 km / h are expected here. In general, however, heavy gusts of wind from the west must be expected again in the entire Danube region and in the east. Only in the night on Wednesday does Sabine slowly fade away.
Snow comes after Sabine
On Wednesday individual snow showers pull through early in the Northern Alps, during the day the snow line rises to 600 to 700 meters. South of the main Alpine ridge and away from the Alps, it mostly remains dry and often sunny. In the Danube region and in the east there is still a lively to strong westerly wind, at the beginning of the Alps gusts of wind are still possible. With 2 to 10 degrees it gets a bit cooler.
Thursday brings a calming of the weather, the dense residual clouds loosen up in the morning and then it goes through the day with a dry sun and cloud mix. In the evening it comes to the west again and at night rain sets in in Vorarlberg. The snow line drops from 1,200 to 100 meters. Before that, it gets blow-dry on the north side of the Alps; in the east, too, some lively south to southeast winds refresh from noon. The maximum values are between 3 and 11 degrees.
Warm at the weekend, stormy again
On Friday it rains frequently on the north side of the Alps, the snow line fluctuates between 600 and 800 meters. Only a few showers pass in the east, the sun continues to shine frequently in the south. With a lively, strong to stormy west wind on the edge of the Alps, the maximum values are between 4 and 12 degrees.
At the weekend, however, the new storm depression Uta will probably also reach Austria, currently it looks like around 80 km / h gusts. It is not yet possible to say with any certainty whether Austria will actually be hit hard. However: A new low follows on Uta, Victoria. The country should therefore be prepared for stormy times even longer.
