Last year, “Frau Ida” and the Zwettl Chamber of Commerce invited people who are about to retire or have already retired to two lecture evenings and an information fair to present opportunities for meaningful employment after their working life. The numerous responses showed that many people are looking for fulfilling employment even in their post-professional phase.
The initiator Anne Blauensteiner then turned to the portal jobwald.atin order to specifically list job offers for retirees in the future. Managing director Roland Surböck was convinced by the idea and, after positive customer response in the test phase, developed the “Pension Aktiv!” campaign. From now on you can www.jobwald.at A targeted search should be made for job offers that are also suitable for retirement. “These are usually minor or part-time jobs. What really surprised me was that around 10% of the newly posted job offers were explicitly open to this!” concluded the Horner entrepreneur.
Finally, Anne Blauensteiner and Roland Surböck emphasize the importance of tax relief for retired part-time workers, as this ultimately benefits the national economy.
