Among the followers Grand theft auto 6 controversy flares up again because of another “leak” that started spread on Reddit and other platforms. Over the years, there have been many rumors and leaks about the project, most of which were wrong. Unfortunately, new information was no exception.
This time we are talking about screenshots published on the Imgur platform. Of the three images, the one with Jason on the jet ski is the most believable, but even this raises questions. Two other images, including pictures of Lucia and a car on a coastal road, look questionable.
The image with Lucia immediately catches the eye as a possible break. The shadows on it do not match the characteristics of the RAGE Engine – the Rockstar engine used in GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Lucia’s model looks suspiciously like models created by AI for YouTube.
The scene with the car also raises questions: the viewing angle is too narrow for GTA games. An additional argument against the “leak” is the unnaturally large small map. Of course, Rockstar could update the design of the interface, but for now it is unlikely.
For example, we can remember a past “leak” – there was a blue and black car created by fans for fun, but someone tried to pass them off as actual screenshots from the upcoming episode.
Rockstar Games, as before, has not yet commented on the leak, and it is unlikely that it will change its policy of silence. However, if an official statement emerges, we will update the information.
Fans can only wait for an announcement from Rockstar itself to separate fact from fiction. Until then, all that remains is any new “leak”.
