Now the schedule of the women’s Bundesliga has also been published. This is new this year.
The women’s Bundesliga starts again in mid-September. The schedule was published by the DFB.
The presence on TV is new. Rules match days extend over four days. A game will be broadcast live on Sport1 on Monday. In addition, ARD and ZDF have acquired the right to ten free-to-air live TV games per season.
All games in the women’s Bundesliga will continue to be broadcast live on MagentaSport. New: At the same time, DAZN is also broadcasting all 132 games per season live and in full in the pay area.
TV revenue: In the new rights period, the revenue from the TV contracts will be distributed equally to the clubs in the period from 2023/2024 to 2026/2027. The license revenues achieved totaling 20.7 million euros correspond to 5.175 million euros per season. 90 percent of this goes to the clubs every year. That is 4.657 million euros and thus 388,000 euros per club – almost six times as much as before.
