As his contract expires in June 2023, Kalidou Koulibaly still does not know what his future will hold.
As explained by the Calciomercato.it site visited by Senenews, Juventus, FC Barcelona, PSG or even Premier League clubs would think of Kalidou Koulibaly for a transfer this summer. However, no concrete offer has reportedly reached Napoli at the moment.
A new scenario could therefore be envisaged for the future of the Senegalese defender: that of a free start in June 2023. In this case, AS Roma and Inter could invite themselves into the dance.
For his part, Kalidou Koulibaly would not be against staying one more year in Naples since he would feel good there.
On the other hand, the 30-year-old central defender would be a little more reluctant to extend his contract with the Serie A resident if his salary is lower.
According to the Italian media, Naples would like to offer 4.5M€ per season to Kalidou Koulibaly, while the latter currently receives 6M€ per year. It remains to be seen what will be decided this summer for the future of the Senegalese. Case to follow.
