The Council of Ministers and Lena Borislavova are lying
Kiril Petkov did not attend the meeting in Thessaloniki at all, nor the dinner, as his spokeswoman and the Council of Ministers lie.
The photo from the dinner at the five-star Hyatt Hotel in Thessaloniki of the Prime Minister, Lena Borislavova and a third person (named for visual resemblance as our ambassador Valentin Poryazov) blew up public opinion.
Let’s see what happened!
I will first explain the international meeting.
It is part of the Eastern European Cooperation Process (SEECP). It is a meeting of the Balkan states – ie. and our neighbors at the highest possible state level.
It was attended by Charles Michel, President of the EU’s highest body, the European Council, and the Secretary-General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Mrs Majlinda Bregu.
Ie only a native idiot or some proxy acting on a foreign order would not pay attention to her. International cooperation, the EU and the Balkans, energy and gas connectivity and mutual assistance, security, joint development of border areas, Russia’s war in Ukraine, etc. were discussed.
The absence of our Prime Minister, provided he was in Thessaloniki at the same time, is a spectacular international political scandal. Thus, he has shown hostility to the EU, to the countries with which we live on the peninsula and has not moved a finger to develop Bulgaria’s relations with them, nor to defend and argue major Bulgarian priorities.
The participation of Foreign Minister Teodora Ganchovska (among the lowest-ranking participants in the meeting) cannot wash away the new introduction of tension from Bulgaria in our relations with the EU.
The lies
In her media appearance yesterday, cabinet spokeswoman Lena Borislavova said she and the prime minister were at the event in Thessaloniki.
Again yesterday, the Council of Ministers released the following information:
“In response to journalistic questions, we would like to inform you that on June 10, 2022, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will participate in the High Level Dinner of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Thessaloniki. Improving relations between the countries of the region, easing transport and border infrastructure were among the topics discussed. However, the most important thing is the trust between the countries, against the background of the raging war to the east of us, was the common opinion of the leaders. “
LIE!
Here is an excerpt from the Declaration adopted at the meeting and posted on the official government website in Greece, as well as on the EU website:
–
“Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, we, the participants in the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) summit, President Borut Pahor, President Milo Djukanovic, President Vosa Osmani-Sadriu, President Shefik Jaferovic, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilica, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, Prime Minister Edi Rama, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, Deputy Prime Minister Sorin Grindianu, Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic, Foreign Minister Teodora Gencovska and Deputy Foreign Minister Farouk Kaymakci.
In the presence of the President of the European Council, Mr Charles Michel, and the Secretary-General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Mrs Majlinda Bregu (“
/ end of quote /
Kiril Petkov does not show up on the official photos of the participants in the meeting. Dinner is not measured either, as the Council of Ministers lies.
I am giving videos of the meeting and dinner posted on the newsroom of the European Council’s website:
–
/ official video of the participants /
/ video from the dinner /
The fact is that the big government Airbus 319 flew there, although the road to Thessaloniki is only three hours on the highway. / see screenshots /. And dinner started earlier.
I remember what I wrote in a post some time ago about another scandal with the government and its spokeswoman:
(quote) “Mr. Prime Minister, whatever your relationship with the head of your cabinet, this person proves that he is not for this post. If you can’t or rather don’t want to get rid of it, apply “Peter’s side pass”! I hope you know what I’m talking about … If you don’t, the head of your office and others. such actions will soon, willingly or unwillingly, drive you out of your prime minister’s office. ” (end of quote)
And if the demonstrated absence and presence in Thessaloniki is not the result of bullying and lack of skills for any mastery of passions by Kiril Petkov, the scandal is far more frightening and serious than a personal story with state money.
As I wrote then on that occasion with the government and the speaker:
“In the severe case (I am referring to a possible order) I am not even told what I am talking about.”
