New Samsung Unpacked 2022 teaser features 2 foldable phones

The teaser recently uploaded to the Samsung Indonesia Instagram account confirms that not only the new generation of Galaxy Z Flip will be launched, but also other folding phones.

Samsung last week announced Unpacked 2022 will be held August 10. Announcement as well as show Galaxy Z Flip4 as one that will be launched at the event. Now, Samsung’s new video trailer features more than one foldable phone will be exhibited in Unpacked 2022.

The teaser that was just uploaded to the Samsung Indonesia Instagram account confirms the rumors that have been circulating so far. Not only the new generation of Galaxy Z Flip, but Unpacked 2022 will also release another foldable phone.

However, it is not yet clear whether it is the Galaxy Z Fold4 or a new series of foldable phones. The reason is, the video mentions the word “Flex”, referring to the prototype the company had exhibited at CES 2022. At that time, Samsung introduced two prototypes of screen phones that could be folded into three parts, called Flex S and Flex G.

“Flex is better than Flat,” Samsung wrote in its new teaser trailer.

Apart from that, the folding phone that was only shown at a glance might also be the Galaxy Z Fold4. Like its predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 were launched at the same time.

Combines online and offline Unpacked events

Reported from SamMobile (27/7), Samsung has just confirmed that Unpacked 2022 will be held in a hybrid manner, namely online and offline. The company has set up new experiences and experiential event spaces at London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York’s Meatpacking District. The company will bring together Galaxy fans, partners, journalists and Samsung employees from around the world to see the latest Galaxy phones and wearables.

Samsung claims its new event space “will allow consumers around the world to get hands-on and explore […] products in a fun, creative, engaging, and immersive setting.”
