“New Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital Opens in Brooklyn with State-of-the-Art Features”

Although they must have spent more than 40 years in New York City, a new public hospital has already opened in Brooklyn. It is the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, in honor of the deceased Supreme Court judge, and which was inaugurated this Tuesday.

The assistance center, located on Ocean Parkway, Coney Island, and with a structure designed to withstand powerful storms, was funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for approximately $923 million dollars.

According to the announcement by the authorities, which is reviewed by local media, the hospital has an elevated emergency room to resist flooding and systems such as Sandy.

With 11 floors in total, it also has private patient rooms, state-of-the-art equipment for specialty care in South Brooklyn and surrounding communities, and a lobby that welcomes staff and visitors. In addition, in said space there is a statue of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 7 feet high.

Clara Spera, granddaughter of the deceased judge, attended the inauguration and the traditional court of the appointment.
