After a few weeks of calm, we return to talk about the next iPhone series outgoing in 2021, and in particular some indiscretions leaked in the last few days concerning theirs cameras.

In fact, according to the analysts of Barclays Blayne Curtis and Thomas O’Malley, all of them four models of the iPhone 13 they will be equipped with a camera updated wide angle. The main improvement will be brought byopening ƒ / 1.8, wider than the current ƒ / 2.4 of the iPhone 12, which will allow the passage of a more light through the lens. To benefit most would obviously be the performance of the ultra-wide in low light conditions.
This turns out to be partially in contrast with the arguments of the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, according to which the ultra-wide lens will be updated with a ƒ / 1.8 aperture, but on iPhone 13 Pro models only, and not even on “smooth” models. Kuo expects the updated wide-angle lens to expand to the rest of the iPhone line in the second half of 2022.
