The goal is for minors to enter discotheques after 10:00 p.m. only with a special declaration from a parent and with an authorized companion entered in the document. With the new approach, both the law enforcement authorities and the managers of the establishments hope to overcome the difficulties in checking and attending the teenagers, reported BNT.
However, many boys and girls find a way to bypass parental permission and go to the disco. During the last check in four nightclubs in Plovdiv, the police found over 30 visitors under the age of 18.
Half of them submitted declarations that they were accompanied by an adult, but without a signed power of attorney from a parent. Therefore, uniformed persons now require a special document for verification.
The new declarations will be mandatory for all young people between the ages of 14 and 18 who want to enter a disco in Plovdiv after 10:00 p.m.
Night club managers also believe that a statement written and signed by a parent is important.
