Flixtrain has more than 40 cities on offer
The offer is to be expanded step by step. From May 20, the Hamburg-Cologne and Berlin-Cologne routes will initially be served. From June there will also be connections from Berlin to Stuttgart. For the first time, trains will also run to and from Munich. A night connection Munich-Berlin-Hamburg is also planned, but without sleeping or couchette cars. From mid-June, Munich will also be in contact with Frankfurt am Main. Travelers can expect a timetable with a total of more than 40 cities – that’s about as many as the partner brand “Flixbus”.

Flixtrain in Saxony
Flixtrain trains are also available in Saxony Stop. From May 27, the Hamburg-Berlin-Leipzig route will be served up to eight times a day. Deutsche Bahn has been running the Hamburg-Berlin line on average every half an hour during the day since winter.

Flixtrain in Saxony-Anhalt
With the restart, Flixtrain also returns Saxony-Anhalt return. The offer was discontinued in November. From May 20th, a stop in Stendal will be offered on the Berlin-Cologne route. Up to four trains will then run there every day. In Naumburg, trains on the Hamburg-Berlin-Munich line will stop up to twice a day from June 17. Halle is also back on the Flixtrain timetable: stops are planned on the Berlin-Stuttgart line up to four times a day from June.

Flixtrain in Thuringia
Flixtrain will in East Thuringia Offering stops: From June 17, there will be stops in Saalfeld and Jena on the long-distance connection Hamburg-Munich. However, these are only served around midnight or very early in the morning.

Flixtrain also operates in Sweden
But Flixtrain doesn’t just want to expand its range in Germany: The company’s green trains have also been rolling through Sweden for a week. The Flixtrain takes around three and a half hours for the 450-kilometer journey between Stockholm and Gothenburg. A ticket costs the equivalent of around twelve euros.

Without ticket counters and own trains
Tickets can be booked or rebooked online or via the company’s app. Each passenger is assigned a fixed seat free of charge. One piece of luggage and hand luggage are included on every journey.

Flixtrain became known primarily through the long-distance bus brand Flixbus. As with the bus, the parent company Flixmobility does not buy its own vehicles for trains, but restricts itself to network planning and marketing. Partner companies operate the trains.
