ITA Airways recently announced its 2023 summer schedule, with flights to 68 destinations, including 22 domestic, 46 international. With this new Rome-New York flight, the Italian company increases to 3 daily rotations on this axis.
To meet high customer demand, ITA Airways is therefore strengthening its offer of direct connections between Rome and New York. From June 1, 2023, a daily return flight Rome Fiumicino – New York JFK, the AZ 602 and the AZ 603, will be added to the current schedule, bringing to three the daily frequencies connecting the Italian capital to the John Fitzgerald Kennedy International Airport.
If we add to this the daily connection between Milan Malpensa and New York JFK, the daily return flights operated by ITA Airways between Italy and the Big Apple will be four in number, bringing the total number of frequencies to 28. weekly to JFK.

Operated by an Airbus A330, the new AZ602 will depart daily at 9.15 a.m. from Fiumicino and land at 1 p.m. local time in New York. This new connection is in addition to the AZ608 which leaves at 10.10 am and the AZ610 which leaves at 3.10 pm from Rome Fiumicino already on the company’s schedule.
The new return flight from New York, AZ603, will leave at 6:05 p.m. local time, arriving in Rome at 8:40 a.m. and will complete ITA Airways’ JFK – FCO offer, which already includes AZ609 departing JFK at 4 p.m. and AZ611 which takes off at 9:30 p.m. local time.
