Developer Team Ninja has dropped a new video from Rise of the Ronin, highlighting the battles of the samurai adventure. As you know, the game combines an open world à la Assassin’s Creed with a combat system similar to Nioh. Check out the trailer below.
In Rise of the Ronin, Ki (or stamina) is one of the most important factors during combat. Thanks to Ki you can perform cool combat moves. Be careful not to use too much, because then you have to recover and then you are an easy target for enemies. The same goes for your opponents, of course: once their Ki is used up, you can break through their defense and easily score critical hits.
Cool is that Rise of the Ronin is different stances has, like Nioh. In which several new weapons have been integrated. A musket with bayonet? Or would you rather have a revolver? Developer Team Ninja has taken both melee combat and ranged weapons into account.
