Another interesting piece of news concerns the British studio Ninja Theory, which has belonged to Microsoft since 2018. But when he bought it, it was not clear how much he paid for the team. Now it has become clear that Microsoft spent 117 million dollars for the authors of Hellblade. At the same time, Microsoft was also acquiring other studios. An email from Bethesda marketing chief Pete Hines revealed that Bethesda was confused by Microsoft’s willingness to keep Call of Duty on the PlayStation when it was the opposite of what The Elder Scrolls writers should have been asked to do. On the other hand, I think the new IP from ZeniMax will only be aimed at PC and Xbox, like Starfield or Redfall.

The leaked materials also revealed that Microsoft expects to release a new IP from Bungie known as Matter in 2025. The creators of Destiny also recently announced the comeback of the Marathon brand in the form of an extraction event. Even on Xbox, however, they apparently believe that Matter will be the next really big thing from Bungie.
