New revelations about the king. A former employee of Charles spoke up – 2024-08-01 21:48:48

Britain’s King Charles III may sometimes show his “terrible” character, but he is “absolutely not a monster”. This was stated by a former royal official.

Some people involved in working with the royal family, including royal correspondent Jenny Bond, admitted the king could be grumpy at times. One incident that particularly demonstrated his character was when he became angry over a leaking pen at Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland, a few days after Queen Elizabeth’s death.

“Charles can have a terrible temper… Anything he sees as incompetence really sets him off. He doesn’t suffer fools. Frankly, anyone who has worked with him will tell you that he is always very well prepared, well versed in matters related to the people he meets, the king treats experts conscientiously and with respect,” said an insider man for the monarch in front of the Express.

His Majesty expects those around him to show him the same respect. King Charles can get angry with his staff when he thinks someone isn’t doing their job properly or is just “acting like an idiot”.

The insider added: “At the end of the day, people love working for him, but everyone is under a lot of pressure as his office is incredibly busy. He’s not a monster in the office at all, but he’s human and sometimes he crashes…Unfortunately, sometimes when that happens, there’s a camera on him.”

A friend of the King and Queen Camilla, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also told the publication: “Of course he’s a short-tempered person, but since he’s been living with Camilla he’s become a lot better, regardless of his position or status, he’s irritated by everyone day, but literally every movement of the monarch, his every gesture is the object of great attention.”
