It is already known that the Mossad set up a shell company based in Budapest but this only happened so that the Israeli secret services managed to approach the company in Taipei. Specifically, Mossad agents impersonating people from a company that had manufactured a new very long-lasting battery made an appointment with the owner of Apollo Systems in order to ask him for cooperation.
The owner of the company, although not impressed with the design of the battery, agreed to put this particular type of battery in the list of additional products that his customers could order.
He himself never received and never sent a shipment of deadly batteries to customers or to Hezbollah, as he had declared to the international media who approached him a few hours after the chain explosions in Beirut.
The Israelis also created and registered a code for their own batteries which is LI-BT783. In order to ensure that it would be this battery that would eventually arrive together with the buzzers in the hands of Hezbollah, they launched an “electronic campaign” advertising the capabilities of their product.
So the batteries began to be advertised as a “must have” on many sales pages, eventually resulting in Hezbollah choosing them.
This “innocent” decision by Hezbollah was to change the organization once and for all, at least in the structure and form we knew it up to that moment.
