The remedial activities provided by the teachers, at the level of the educational unit, within the national pilot program of type “School after school”, will be remunerated with the amount of 100 lei / hour – gross tariff, it is shown in an order issued by the Minister of Education for completing the methodological norms for applying the program for students up to and including the 8th grade.

According to a communiqué of the Ministry of Education, the schedule of remedial activities will be established at the level of the educational unit, by the teacher, in consultation with the students and their parents or legal representatives.

“The remedial learning activities carried out within the national pilot program of the type” School after school “, provided by the teachers, are remunerated with the amount of 100 lei / hour – gross tariff”, it is shown in the order.

The Minister’s order also provides for the flexibility of the program for remedial activities by the fact that schools will be able to organize the program without the approval of the school inspectorate and support students to follow the remedial program in the school where they are enrolled, being considered ex officio organizing units, all educational units in which at least one group of students can be organized.

According to the ministry’s communiqué, the order establishes the inclusion in the program, unconditionally of deadlines, of the students, in a continuous way and adapted to their needs.

Parents or legal representatives of students will be able to submit applications to include these students in the program, continuously, until the 25th of each month.

The Minister of Education, Sorin Cîmpeanu, informed, on Saturday evening, that over 225,000 students were registered to participate in the remedial classes, which will be able to be organized in physical form in all schools in the localities where the COVID-19 incidence rate is lower of 6 per thousand, ie they are not quarantined.

The Minister of Education specified that according to the centralized data on Friday from the communications of the county school inspectorates, 75,000 students in primary education, 60,000 in secondary education and 90,000 in high school education were enrolled for remedial classes.

Câmpeanu underlined that according to the amendments brought on Saturday to the joint order of the Ministers of Education and Health regarding the measures of organizing the activity within the educational units / institutions in epidemiological safety conditions, the remedial classes will be held with the measures of organizing the activity within the units / educational institutions in epidemiologically safe conditions “regardless of the scenario, regardless of the class”, in schools in localities that are not quarantined, ie the incidence is less than 6 per thousand inhabitants.

“Students are allowed access to the national recovery program, remedial classes, regardless of scenario, regardless of class, physical presence is allowed. This is absolutely essential, because as I said, what has been lost due to online teaching cannot be recovered through online teaching, physical presence is needed, and this ministerial order today allows for the physical presence of students who I support the recovery classes indirectly in class, regardless of the scenario, up to 6 per thousand “, declared Minister Cîmpeanu, on Antena 3.

Also, Minister Câmpeanu also showed that even at these remedial hours, the anti-COVID-19 prevention norms provided for schools will be observed.

simulations of national exams and exams for the final years; national assessments; remedial classes for all classes ”.

At the same time, according to the order of the Ministry of Education, which establishes the methodology of remedial classes, and the actual activities will start on March 8.
