New restrictions in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi today revised the regulations for the operational capacity of hotels, gyms, restaurants, beaches, taxis and buses as cinemas have been completely closed. These new directives are applicable as of today February 7.

The restrictions are as follows:

– Shopping centers must operate at a maximum capacity of 40%

– Restaurants and cafes must open to 60% of their capacity.

– Hotels must operate at a maximum capacity of 60%

– Beaches and private pools must operate at 50%

– Beaches and public parks must operate at 60% of their capacity

– Gyms must operate at 50% of their capacity

– Taxis must operate at 45% capacity and buses at 75% capacity

– cinemas are closed until further notice

– No parties or gatherings until further notice

– 10 people authorized for weddings and family reunions and a maximum of 20 people for funerals and bereavement services.
