The watering ban also affects sports grounds. An exception (and again, watering should be kept to a minimum): training or competition grounds with national or international significance. It is also forbidden to water the golf courses. “The greens can however be preserved, except in the event of a shortage of drinking water, by watering “reduced to what is strictly necessary” between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. and which cannot represent more than 30% of the usual volumes. »
Ever more limited irrigation
The cleaning of facades and sidewalks is one of the prohibitions, except for health or safety reasons.
All the measures are listed on the prefecture’s website. They are in addition to those valid since July 21 (prohibition of watering lawns, washing your car elsewhere than in centers equipped with a recycling system, operating beach showers, etc.).
