Mortal Kombat 1 received a new trailer this Sunday (6) that reveals one of the most beloved fighters in the franchise in the spotlight: Reptile, in addition to Ashrah and Havik who also return to the cast of the NetherRealm game.

Ashrah first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Deception. Despite her human appearance, she is a NetherRealm demon who seeks to purify her own soul. It may be that the version of her in the new universe created by Liu Kang is different from this, but that’s how she came about.
Havik is a chaos worshiper. Native to Chaosrealm, this is a character that also appeared in Mortal Kombat: Deception and tends to oscillate between the side of the heroes and the side of the villains.
