New rectorate team of TU Graz has been appointed

The University Council at Graz University of Technology agreed on a new rectorate team on Thursday: As before, the designated rector Horst Bischof will be joined by Stefan Vorbach as vice rector for teaching and Andrea Hoffmann as vice rector for human resources and finance. New additions are Andrea Höglinger as Vice Rector for Research and Michael Monsberger as Vice Rector for Infrastructure and Sustainability, according to a broadcast. You will be in office from October.

Andrea Höglinger is moving to Graz University of Technology after decades in research management at the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). Michael Monsberger is already firmly rooted as a professor of building technology at the TU. The team was chosen unanimously. The new Rector Bischof spoke of “proven professionals and team players” who should provide “a breath of fresh air” for internal experience. The term of office of the new rectorate begins on October 1, 2023 and lasts four years.
