Without any marketing or fuss, Ratchet & Clank: Life of Pie has surfaced in Canada, a short animated film about the dynamic duo.
An animated short in the Ratchet & Clank franchise has been released on Canadian streaming platform Crave. That noticed Redditusers.
Ratchet & Clank: Life of Pie lasts about 23 minutes and was made by Mainframe Studios, the studio that also made the 2016 animated film. On IGN reports a Sony spokesperson that the film has nothing to do with the upcoming game, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
“Ratchet & Clank: Life of Pie is a self-contained, licensed animated film created and released by Mainframe Studios,” the statement read. “The series is not related to the upcoming PlayStation 5 game, nor does the story fit within the video game canon.”
Crave is a Canadian streaming platform with rights to other HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime content. The service is not available in the Netherlands.
