Doctors at the University of Washington College of Medicine in America, through an experiment that began in 2017, are observing people who have undergone a pioneering treatment for arrhythmia through radiotherapy, which is usually used to combat cancer.

According to doctors, the radiological procedure to treat arrhythmias involves the use of an electrocardiogram and tomography, then a safe beam of radiation called photons is directed at the target area of ​​the heart to restore a normal pulse.

The treatment called corpuscular ablation therapy has long been used in the treatment of micro-tumors and today offers great hope for heart patients with sudden life-threatening arrhythmias.
