The PS5 has received a new system update that precedes the larger changes currently being beta tested.
Sony has published a new version of the firmware for PlayStation 5. This is a smaller update. As usual with such file packages, official changes are limited to a laconic mention of “system performance improvement”. Sony has not disclosed other changes introduced by the coded firmware 23.01-07.61.
I would like to remind you that the beta of the PlayStation 5 update is still in progress, which will give us access to, among others: for larger M.2 SSD media or will allow you to mute the sound of turning on the console. You can read more about the improvements and novelties currently being tested here.
Sony is also currently working on a game streaming service for PS Plus Premium subscribers. Video quality will also be offered by Sony in 4K. You can read more about it here.
