Eleven months after the launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, both next-gen consoles are still barely available. This is due to the worldwide semi-conductor chipcrisis that continues, partly due to the high demand for the chips. And once a PS5 becomes available on the free market, it won’t be long before a scalper buy that copy and then put it on Marktplaats or Ebay for a hefty extra cost.
To prevent the latter problem in any case, several webshops have started PS5 draws. The randomly selected winner will then be given the opportunity to purchase a next-gen console. A new PS5 draw has now started at BCC, but you have to be quick, because registration closes already on October 6 at 14:00!
How does the PS5 draw work?
When you register for the draw on BCC, your name will be thrown in the top hat. After registration closes, a number of winners will be selected at random and contacted via email to purchase the PlayStation 5. You can only register once per person and address. Although PS5 copies will be raffled is not known.
You cannot choose from different editions for the new draw, but it concerns one specific package. In this case, the package consists of a PlayStation 5 Disk Edition, an additional black DualSense controller, the PS5 game Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut and the SteelSeries Arctis 3 gaming headset.
