Sony has released a new firmware update for the PlayStation 5 and this is version 20.02-02.30. This appears to be a standard update as the description indicates that it is intended to bring more stability to the system. The firmware update is 868.1MB in total, so downloading and installing will not take too long.
Together with the update for the system itself, a new update for the DualSense controller is also available via this update, which now also has to be provided with updates. You can apply this update to the controller by connecting it to the console with a USB-C cable. The DualSense update is not mandatory, but optional.
Updating the controller is very fast, because it won’t take much longer than 15 to 20 seconds. It is not known exactly what the changes are, if there are any at all.
