“New Protests Planned in Nantes Against Pension Reform”

New actions, ahead of the 12e day of demonstrations and strikes against the pension reformshould take place this Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) and in its agglomeration.

On the agenda, an “economic blockage” is planned from 4:30 a.m., Belle-Etoile roundabout, in Carquefou. At dawn, another operation is also on the program at La Janvraie, under the Cheviré bridge, in Nantes, while students announce a blockade of the Tertre campus from 6:30 a.m. the same day.

For its part, if it hopes for a renewed mobilization in the street on Thursday, the inter-union is already calling for Friday night gatheringfrom 6 p.m., at the water mirror in Nantes, the day when the Constitutional Council must decide on the validity of the government bill.
