New protest by taxi drivers in Mexico City against Uber and Cabify

Mexican taxi drivers from Tlalnepantla, Ecatepec, Toluca, Coacalco and Mexico City have concentrated this morning at the Angel of Independence, as part of the call to demonstrate against the transport companies Uber, Cabify and Didi.

Around 07:15 in the morning, a partial cut was made to traffic on Paseo de la Reforma avenue, due to the fact that taxis blocked the Ángel de la Independencia roundabout.

Meanwhile, a group of taxi drivers from Mexico has set up a meeting point for Ignacio Rodríguez, leader of the National Taxi movement, to lead a rally.
