New Principal Education Advisor Joins Delibes College in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe

It was pre-start day, Friday September 1, 2023 at Fresnay-sur-Sarthe (Sarthe), for the team of Leo Delibes middle school, made up of teachers, but also administrative and maintenance services.

Frédéric BardPrincipal, first of all gave a quick update on the works : “During the holidays, the Ulis class (local unit for inclusive education, editor’s note) was refurbished. The major works on the dining room, intended to later receive the primaries, are in progress. »

18 more students and a new senior education advisor

On the attendance side, 289 students passed through the doors of the college this year, compared to 271 last year.

The teaching team remains stable.

Three new teachers have come back to school: Alexandra Roux, in SVT, Madame Tison, in maths, who will occupy a part-time position, and Hatem Halouani who will have 7 hours in physics and chemistry.

Amélie Delporte is the new Principal Education Advisor (CPE).

Formerly Principal of the Primary School of Saint-Pierre-des-Nids, near Alençon (Orne), she plans her new mission at the college around “educational advice, management and supervision of educational assistants, being the interface between teachers, students and parents”.

I will strive to maintain a climate conducive to learning. I am sensitive to the notions of citizenship and mutual respect.

Lucien Gache, new education assistant, will assist her in the recreation and outings services.

Two major annual projects have already been mentioned: the skiing holiday for the 5th and for the other classes, work around the theme of Olympiadsthe Paris Olympics in 2024 oblige, which will bring together several disciplines (physical education, visual arts, mathematics, letters).
