President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting today with Dr. , Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, and Major General Ahmed Al-Azzazi, Chief of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.

The meeting saw a review of developments in the implementation of priority projects in the South Sinai Governorate, especially in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, and efforts aimed at increasing the efficiency of all vital sectors in the city, in way that improves. tourism status, mainly because of its prestigious international name.

The meeting referred to the following development projects in Taba, Nuweiba, Abu Redis and Al-Tur, as well as a review of the developments of the project “The Great Transfiguration” in the city of St. Catherine, who is trying to transform the project “The Great Transfiguration”. area to become a global tourist destination, as the President wanted to continue the operational setting of each element of the project, in preparation for its opening as follows.

The official spokesman said that the President ordered the continuation and strengthening of work to strengthen the development and performance of tourism in the Governorate of South Sinai, due to its special characteristics, while examining and implementing new methods to encourage investments in all cities of the government, especially at and give priority to this matter, emphasizing the need for the development process in the government to including increasing the efficiency and development of vital sectors that affect the lives of citizens, in a way that is positively reflected in the level of services provided to them in different areas.
